What means HDBaseT Technology?
HDBaseT is a connection standard for transmitting high-definition multimedia signals. With the 5Play concept of HDBaseT systems uncompressed digital video and audio signals (2K / 4K / 3D), Ethernet, POE (Power over Ethernet), USB and various control signals over a single Ethernet LAN cables up to 100 m can be transmitted. The latest specification of HDBaseT also makes it possible to transfer for even longer distances over fiber.

What is to be considered?
HDBaseT LITE uses, in contrast to the conventional data communication, an asymmetric process. The connections must be as stable as possible and without loose contact. It is not possible to resend erroneous bits in a live broadcast. In addition, a solid copper cable (no wires) is very important for the signal transmission.
